Dr. Samuels is a developmental behavioral pediatrician. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School and her Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina in 1985. Dr. Samuels completed her pediatric residency at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and Bexar County Hospital, University of Texas Health Science Center, after which she completed a three-year fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns College of Medicine.
Dr. Samuels most recently served as a developmental pediatrician at Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics of the Carolinas in Concord, North Carolina, and has also served in the public health sector in Georgia, Washington, Arizona and Texas. She is board certified in pediatrics and preventive medicine and is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
