Specializing in Pediatrics, Dr. Griffieth earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Stanford University in 1972 and his Doctor of Medicine degree at Yale University School of Medicine in 1977. After completing his pediatric residency training at the Albert Einstein-Bronx Municipal Hospital in New York, he moved to California.
Dr. Griffieth maintained his private practice in California until his move back to the east coast in 1994 to join Dr. Glasgow. Dr. Griffieth is also board certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics; he is engaged in evaluating and treating children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral problems. Dr. Griffieth is an attending physician at The Ellis-Bellevue Hospital complex in Schenectady. Dr. Griffieth is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Griffieth is also a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York.
Dr. Griffieth has been a part of several church-sponsored missionary teams providing medical services to the rural areas of Mexico. Dr. Griffieth enjoys the outdoors, gardening and loves reading and playing the piano.
