Dr. Michael Morin has called the Capital District home since 1986. After graduating
from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Morin entered the Albany Medical
Center for the Combined Pediatrics/Internal Medicine Residency Program resulting
in board certification in both specialties. He then served one year as Chief Resident
in Pediatrics before joining the Division of General Pediatrics. He spent the next
thirteen years on the faculty of the Children's Hospital focusing on Pediatric primary
care and resident education.
Some academic interests are immunizations, weight management, asthma competency,
dental health, injury prevention, breastfeeding, and daycare health policies.
Advocacy activities include work with Equinox Youth Shelter, membership on the Head
Start Medical Board, the Capital District Pediatric Society, and the American Academy
of Pediatrics.
When outside the office, Dr. Morin is an avid cyclist, organic gardener, and craftsman.
