This Saturday, April 29th, is National Drug Take Back Day!
Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means for disposing of prescriptions drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications. If you have any unused, unwanted or expired medications, bring them to your local Drug Take Back Day location.
What CAN be disposed:
- Controlled, non-controlled, and over-the-counter medications
- Medication in its original container or removed from its container
- Be sure to remove any identifying information such as name or address from the prescription label
What CANNOT be disposed:
- No sharps or syringes
